    Default Permit Question?

Hello all, in 2001 my permit expired and I have since fallen out of the loop of information, I am looking to once again carry a firearm but have a quick question..

I reside in Lower Bucks county and the last time I had a permit, I applied for it at in the 5 points section of Levittown(?) I was wondering if the office is still there? I was also told I could apply at the Sheriff's office in Doylestown where I could get an instant background check and walk out that day with my permit, is this true or was my buddy pulling my leg?

Thanks for any and all advice.

Some counties/locations you can indeed walk out the same day with your new license. I don't know if that is one of them, but it is in fact possible.

    Old license is not needed.

My wife had one that expired in 2002. She stopped in at Levittown to reapply...they considered it a renewal...they called her later that same day "ready for pickup".

Nice, I'm hoping for the same result when I go in to renew.
