Default "Pennsylvania Laws Relating To Firearms" booklet

My wife just picked up her LTCF and the Sheriff's office now gives out this book instead of the sheet that he used to give out that had a list of places you can't carry, which included bars and banks.

This book is huge. 132 pages of every PA law that has anything to do with guns. Including Police and Probation firearms training, PFAs, laws for police when dealing with domestic violence situations, some hunting laws, FFL laws.

It is a very nice book, and was apparently made available by Rich Alloway.

Is it newer than this one?

Wonder how often they update it...

The book is a nice resource, especially in regards to its periphery. I never knew, for example, there was law that said the government had to give money to the NRA in a time of war (alright, maybe what I saw was slightly more broad than that).

The first page of a PENNSLYVANIA LAWS RELATING TO FIREARMS I looked at said:

    PREPARED BY
    Legislative Reference Bureau
    Editing and Publishing Office
For distribution by the Members of the General Assembly
    HARRISBURG, PA
    Revised February 28, 2010

So, members of the GA affix or have affixed their own covers.

    You misunderstood....

That sheet of paper was incorrect on several things pertaining to firearms and carry.

I have that too. Its funny how the Sheriff hands them out, when they are the ones that should be reading it!

So now they give out a whole book of mis-information instead of a single sheet.

    How nice

I have a copy of the book in question, and it seems to be very accurate. It covers everything related to firearms and carrying firearms, and explains everything about the PA LTCF. I learned a lot from reading it, like how you cannot carry a loaded long gun in a vehicle, but you can carry a loaded SBR or SBS in a vehicle. Among other things.

The booklet that the LRB is putting out doesn't have any editorialization or explanation accompanying, just excerpting.
