What gun should have been the "must buy" From ruger?
Entertainment time folks. Seems like its a mixed reception on the lc9. A good gun most likely, but nothing earth shattering by way of a must buy.
Let us play gun designer for Ruger for a moment. What should have been the gun you wanted released? If it's the Lc9 I am cool with that too!
I will start off with mine. An LCR chambered in 9mm.
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I like the way you think. After reading your reply, I will simply second the notion.
I love my S&W 940, but would like to see one of the major revolver makers bring back a S&W 547 type extraction system, or something that otherwise negates the need for moon clips in a 9x19 revolver.

Bones

A lightweight 7 shot, 3 inch .38 special revolver (think larger LCR) with a slick action, factory front night sight, chamfered charge holes and cut for moon clips.
I think this would have been wise because Ruger is the number two player in the American revolver market. Currently their revolver offerings are heavy or really small (LCR). A good middleweight performer is warranted.Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

A Mini-14 that takes AR magazines. They'd sell many, many more.
Or a cheap, lightweight and sturdy bolt action rifle in 5.56 that uses AR mags(with optional flush fit 5 rounder), complete with peep sights. That is something everyone should have.
