ruger warranty
Is it normal for when you call ruger asking about warranty work that they ask if you could send an email with pictures to determine what they are going to do.
this is for my LCP that developed a burr on the feed ramp causing FTL's

Re: rouger warranty
Ruger is sounding more and more like Taurus everyday.
I would tell them that it has a burr on the feed ramp and that you are going to need them to fix it and that would be it.
If they persist, tell them that you spent your money on their product instead of a digital camera and that you would like them honor their warranty.

Re: rouger warranty
They'll send you a shipping label and make it right. It usually takes them about 10 days to get the gun back to you.

Re: ruger warranty
Ruger doesn't offer a formal warranty of any kind. Never has, never will. They take the stance that if your gun is broken due to a problem they caused, they will fix it at no charge to you. However, they are in no way legally bound to fix anything they make.
That being said, their "warranty" service is pretty good.

That's good to hear. I have always been fond of Ruger products. Glad they were able to make it right for you.
