Toy guns in an active WAR ZONE?

Now why does that sound like an invitation for a WORLD of hurt?

Hows about banning insurgency? Hows about banning government people from taking bribes?
If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words.

Bribes? The stinky iraqi prime minister makes $20 million a year. Of OUR money. Money, that we are wasting in that shithole every day. bribes are hardly the issue there.

When I first heard about this, I kind of assumed it was an attempt to prevent Iraqi children from getting gunned down by US soldiers who mistook a child with a toy gun as a real threat. There have been a number of cases here in the US of police shooting kids who pointed real looking toy guns at them, which was part of the reason for orange tips.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised to find out that wasn't the actual motive behind the law. The idea that toy guns lead to insurgents just strikes me as silly.
