    Default Boresnake wonder!

I have always used a bore snake on my shotguns, but never used one on my revolvers until today. It made cleaning my Ruger SBH a dream. I don't know why I never used one until now. Cleaning the barrel was never much of a chore, but I found the cylinders to be a pain in the rear. The bore snake made short work of all six. If you have never used one, I encourage you to give one a try.

I call mine "cylinder bore snakes". Got a bunch of them with the brass bristle taken off.

I use a boresnake on my S&W 17 .22lr revolver as otherwise it can only be cleaned from the muzzle and i'm terrified of messing up the crowning of the barrel with a brass rod. It works like a charm.

I've also started using it on my Mark II and it's nice to be able to clean the barrel from the chamber without having to remove the receiver from the gun.

Boresnakes are great. I always mention them in my training classes.

I've never purchased a new caliber without buying a boresnake to go with it. They are definitely on the "must own" list.
