What belt to wear with your holster?
Looking to purchase a good duty / tactical holster belt for everyday use. It will be used for open carry and, concealment. I perfer the leather look to the nylon. Any advice appreciated.

search "belt", you'll find all you need to know.
I, personally prefer the beltman's products... well worth the money.

Re: What belt to wear with your holster?
You can't go wrong with a belt from the likes of Beltman, Mitch Rosen, or any of the custom holster makers, but they may have a backlog. Galco makes some pretty good gun belts if you don't want to wait.

Re: What belt to wear with your holster?
I'd love to have some of the stuff recommended around the forum, but I'm either too poor or a cheapskate (not certain which yet).
At any rate, I've got a couple C.E. Schmidt belts from Tractor Supply Co. which seem to be holding up pretty well for around $20 or so.
Good luck.

I carry in a C5 Leather gunbelt. Best belt I've ever used. Makes carrying a Sig P229 a breeze.

Re: What belt to wear with your holster?
Yup.
I second the Beltman nomination. I went w/ the 1.5" non-reinforced bull hide, plain-jane model, and couldn't be happier.
I've been using it for a couple years now, usually toting a P7M8 (not really a lightweight pistol - all steel, etc.) IWB in either a DelFatti ISP-4 or Sparks VM-2.
Most reputable custom/semi-custom holster makers will usually offer a top-notch quality gun belt, from what I have seen.
My Beltman had about a month wait, and cost about $75 shipped, but is worth every penny to me...

Bones

Re: What belt to wear with your holster?
When I got my crossbreed super tuck I also got one of their belts. Works well for me. I do not use the super tuck much but always use the belt. It handles my full size 1911 with no problems. I was going to get a beltman but crossbreed had a deal on belts.
