Brown-Bear will OC for next 2 weeks, to see what happens.
In response to my last thread, I will OC for next 2 weeks and see what happens. I will tell you now that I will comply with LEO's requests to either conceal it or take it off or what ever as to not cause a scene. But I am going to do it, just as say a social experiment if you will. I will not be OC'ing at work as it IS a federal law that EMS workers not have firearms on board an ambulance and, my employer has a strict no weapons on the premises policy, which I usually skirt by CC'ing, and keeping it in my bag.
Look for frequest updates posted here.

Re: Brown-Bear will OC fdor next 2 weeks, to see what happens.
I lived in Dover, OC'd a bit, never a problem.
Good luck!
However, from the extreme prejudice and ignorance of rights and law you exposed in your "other" thread. I won't be able to believe your reports as being honest. Sorry, your hatred of OC and now this? Doesn't add up. I fully expect you to post "horror stories" to support your otherwise empty claims about OC.. JMHO.
Hopefully your sincere in your intentions because as people who actually do OC have found is that it is nothing like you think it will be.Last edited by Pa. Patriot; November 26th, 2007 at 02:18 AM.

I'm just curious what it was exactly in the other thread that made you want to give OC a test.
As far as your sincerity, I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and I will look forward to your updates. If you are truly going through this trial period because you have an open mind, then my hat is off to you.

Good for you! It's rather hard to argue against something you've never done, in this context at least...
it IS a federal law that EMS workers not have firearms on board an ambulance

Maybe Josh could jump in here.

His name on the forum is ithinkimamedic
He would know the laws.

the laws in regard to what? carrying on an ambulance? It's not a federal law, but it is prohibited under Pennsylvania's EMS act, all offensive weapons are. Granted, i carry a knife as a utility tool on pepper spray for defense against "animals"...and wear a bulletproof vest just in case.
