    Default S&W M&P 9mm range trip

I went to the range today to shoot my new full size M&P 9mm. I haven't shot much lately but I guess I did ok for being rusty. I was shooting @ Tripoli Triggers in Williamsport. I've shot there a few times before but its been 11/2-2yrs. The nice young lady told me she was turning the lights on for me and asked if I knew how to use the controls to move the target in and out I told her I thought I could manage. So the first target was 25rnds @ 7yds. the second target was 25rnds. @ 7yds with the lane lights on! I don't know what lights she was turning on for me but it wasn't the 4 floodlights that illuminate the lane. I was the only one there so I didn't have anyone else there to tell me hey your lights aren't on. Anyway I think I did ok for being rusty. I usually shoot a kimber 1911 so this pistol was a big change for me. Both targets are the same size I cropped and compressed to make them smaller..

Looks good man congrats on the new gun. A few more trips and you're groups will be looking much nicer. I did about the same as you when I first started shooting my glock back in Feb. About 400-500 rounds later I can keep them inside a fist no problem at 7 yards.

I would have to say it is everything I expected it to be. I tend to do alot of research before making a purchase. I feel it is a sturdy well made firearm and my main reason for buying this gun is that I have short fingers and the different size palm swells make it fit my hand. I have had many 9's & 40's over the yrs. and I could never find one I was comfortable with. I have had Glocks, Taurus 92, and Ruger P89 and none of them fit my hand as well as the M&P. I hope this helps.
