Just bought my first pistol

Just picked up my first pistol, an XDm compact 9mm. Picked it up from renegadephoenix at Ace Sporting Goods in Washington, PA. They even gave me a free box of ammo to run thru it. I will try to get out to the range this weekend and get some shooting in.

Anyways, I'm pretty stoked and can't wait to pick up some accessories for it. Some snap caps, a Crossbreed supertuck IWB holster, and a Pearce extension.

Congrats, nice pistol. I just got my first pistol for Christmas (FNH-FNP 40). I've put a few boxes of ammo through and it shoots great.
Is that a speed loader they included in the kit? I got one for mine, and boy, does that make loading those mags so much faster and easier!

Excellent!! I use the Compact XD 9mm for my main CCW gun. I bought it when they first came out and it is very accurate and had no failures to date. I even used it to qualify for my CCW : ) Again, CongradulatiOns and enjOy!!

Thanks for the reply's. I'll probably be going to the range this Saturday, but I might not be if I end up going to the Winter Classic. Either way, I will be shooting it soon.

R Kern, yeah it comes with a speed loader. Not a universal one like Uplula, but it makes life easy.

I am so Jealous, at least your poly gun comes with all sorts of cool accessories when you buy it brand new...

My glock came with 2 mags and a cleaning rod....An owners manual and warranty card....WTF?

It's okay my High noon should be in the mail by now!

OH and FWIW I am not bashing on glocks and wouldn't buy any other poly pistol, I just wish I got cool Tacticool gear from glock every time I purchased a new one of their pistols.

Let me know how you like the new compact. I have a full size Xdm 40 and love it. I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on one of the compacts.
