Default Yeah we made the news again!

Looks like Ross Township has been taking a lot of the spotlight in the local paper... here is yet another fuck up getting busted.

I passed this the other day, thought it was an accident... guess not.

A Sciota man is awaiting a preliminary hearing in district court after leading police on a dramatic car chase through three townships, during which, police allege, he threw three baggies of cocaine out his car window.

John Gary Marsh, 39, of Greenview Drive, was in Monroe County Correctional Facility on Wednesday in lieu of $50,000 bail following Tuesday's chase, in which speeds reached 100 mph, police said.

State police give the following account:

At 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, Trooper John Osterhout of the state police at Swiftwater was on patrol when he saw a Chrysler Crossfire speeding north on Business Route 209 toward Easton Belmont Pike in Hamilton Township.

Osterhout turned on his lights and siren, at which point the Chrysler sped up and turned onto Easton Belmont Pike, heading south. Osterhout clocked the Chrysler at 80 mph as it weaved back and forth over the double yellow line. The Chrysler turned east onto Upper Cherry Valley Road, heading into Stroud Township and then turned south onto Route 191, where it was clocked at 100 mph.

The Chrysler crossed into the northbound lane to pass a truck in front of it, forcing a northbound vehicle to swerve to the shoulder to avoid a crash. The Chrysler then turned west onto Poplar Valley Road, going into the opposite lane on sharp curves and again risking crashing into an oncoming vehicle. That's when Osterhout saw a clear plastic bag thrown from the driver's side window at the Stroud-Hamilton township line.

The Chrysler continued west onto Lower Cherry Valley Road, where it sped past a stopped school bus. Osterhout then tried unsuccessfully to force the Chrysler off the road into a field to end the chase.

Marsh continued west on Lower Cherry Valley Road, with smoke and sparks coming from his passenger side rear tire, weaving back and forth across both lanes. Marsh then turned north onto Old Route 115, heading into Ross Township, and then west onto Kunkletown Road, continuing to weave across both lanes.

Osterhout again tried to force him off the road, bringing Marsh to a stop in another resident's front yard on Kunkletown Road, between Rolling Hills and Hillcrest roads.

Osterhout later returned to Poplar Valley Road and found three prepackaged baggies of cocaine on the side of road.

Marsh was charged with fleeing or trying to elude police, reckless driving, careless driving, speeding, driving with a suspended or revoked license, reckless endangerment, simple trespassing, illegal lane-changing and drug possession.

Marsh pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in Stroudsburg in 2005 and was placed on probation for six months. He again pleaded guilty to DUI in Hamilton Township in 2008 and was sentenced to two to six months in county jail.

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Every day man... this area just loves publicity...

Like I always say, it's a shame, because it's a beautiful area, but the scumbags/implants ruin it all.
