Default *Pics Price and Mfg Date of Colt and Ruger

Hello all, I was wondering if anybody would know what the following two guns sell for these days and if possible when they might have been manufactured.

I wish I had pics to post since I know this would help with value plus they are both good looking firearms. I'm going to try and get them photographed tomorrow.

The First Gun is a Colt Government Model MK IV Series 80 Compact Cal. .380.
Factory Blue is Between a strong 90% to almost 95%. It has Factory Black Grips with Colt Medallions. The Gun is Marked Colt's PT FA MFG. Co. Hartford, CT USA. S/N RC016XX

The second is a Sturm Ruger Speed-Six Cal. .357 Revolver. Factory Blue is a solid 90%. It has Factory Ruger Walnut Grips with Ruger Medallions. The Gun is Marked Sturm Ruger & Co. Inc. Southport, Conn USA. S/N 160-129XX

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

***Just wanted to share the pictures of these two guns***

    Hope you enjoy.

Can't help you with the Colt, but the Ruger was made in 1984 (according to the Ruger website).

For prices you might want to see what people are asking for similar guns on GunBroker.com. Then you research what they actually sold for. You can also go to www.rugerforum.com and check the classifieds there for prices.

For the Colt you may want to go to a Colt forum.

You can also go to your locaal bookstore and peruse the Blue Book of Gun Values. Mine say a 90% Ruger Speed Six is worth about $170 but realistically you could probably get $20-$275 (or more depending on how bad someone wants it).

Xring, thank you... In the last couple months two friends of mine have come accross a number of firearms which they have no interest in. Since they know I have a bit of general firearms knowledge they've both asked for my help.

With your info and what I can find on GunBroker I should be able to give them enough information so that they're well informed before they sell.

    Best Regards,
