Default What ordinances beside Lost or Stolen were challanged?

My local fishwrap had an opinion piece today bashing the new attempt to get the "NRA bill" passed. I plan to write a letter, but want to get some facts straight. What ordinances were challenged besides lost and stolen? They also state that lost and stolen had been upheld by several courts. Is this true, or were the cases thrown out because of lack of standing and thus never actually litigated and upheld?

Even if LoS ordinances were upheld in courts, the people that support the idea should provide some kind of evidence that they've actually been effective in stopping crime.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

This. Pointless laws are pointless. Even worse when they work to prosecute victims of crimes.

Start here:“No county, municipality or township may in any manner regulate the lawful ownership, possession, transfer or transportation of firearms, ammunition or ammunition components when carried or transported for purposes not prohibited by the laws of this Commonwealth.”

Any law pertaining to the possession of firearms is preempted by state law. Just the fact that they enacted a "lost and stolen" ordinance is illegal. Weather or not the law would stand up in court to a constitutional objection doesn't matter. They broke the law by enacting any laws pertaining to firearms over and above the state law. The state gov has to do it.
