Ok, for a second I thought they stopped in December and were planning to start again in April.

Anybody who's applied recently know if the Delco Sherrif is still calling employers? I was thinking of applying, but I work for a school district and not real sure how they'll feel about getting a call from the sherrif.

I put in my application about 26 days ago and they have not contacted my employer or references as of yet.

For my renewal in January, they did not contact my employer or my references.

Just submitted my application this morning. Printed out the form online, filled it out, went to the courthouse, submitted, paid $25, and took my picture. Took about 10 mins. They said it would take about 45 days. Lets see....

Mine expires in Feb of 2012 so I just may be there in Dec.

No Prob! Thanks for the Reps! The extended hrs were printed on a strip of orange paper. When you go into the sheriff's offfice, its on the counter all the way to the right near the windows and right in front of the lady that takes your picture.

I'm a new resident of both Delco and Pennsylvania. I'm looking at applying for my "papers" soon. Should I be expecting a delay?
