Open carry once denied LTCF??
I've read the laws and statutes but didn't see anything about tmy issue. I was denied a LTCF for a misdemeanor drug offense 10 years ago but can and do own a weapon. My question is, does this denial for LTCF also hinder me from OCing? Thank you

Re: Open carry once denied LTCF??
From everything I've read here I believe the answer is YES, as long as you aren't in a vehicle and it doesn't get concealed.

I am not a lawyer, i don't play on on tv, and I didn't spend the night at a holliday inn express but since there is no need for a LTCF to oc on foot then there should be no law stopping you from ocing on foot only.

Re: Open carry once denied LTCF??
Thank you for the responses. I'm going to look into it further to see if there's on paper but from what i found i didn't see anything. I don't plan to OC anytime soon but if the need arises i would just like to make sure all my bases are covered so i don't get caught with my pants down. Anymore insight would be greatly appreciated

Re: Open carry once denied LTCF??
from my limited understanding of OC laws here in pa, there is no law against it thus it is legal. So i'm not sure you'll find anything on paper about it

Re: Open carry once denied LTCF??
Just don't ask the police if it's legal. They have had there training about Open Carry but some are misinformed and will tell you it's illegal. Others will lie and say it's illegal. Ive read alot here that people open carry without a LTCF because of small offenses years past so your probably alright.

And remember that a LTCF (or reciprocal license/permit) is required by state statute to OC in Philly, if you ever intend on being there.

Re: Open carry once denied LTCF??
Have you had a PICS insta-chek done since your arrest?
A whole bunch of people had a whole bunch of stuff they either forgot , or thought didn't matter , from years ago , come to bite them in the ass with a PICS check.
I would think any drug related arrest would disqualify you from owning/possessing firearms.I don't speak English , I talk American!
