Marine Corps League annual pistol competition
The Department of Pennsylvania of the Marine Corps League has sponsored a pistol competiton for many years now.
It's at Ft.Indiantown National Guard Training base.
Usually about 250 competitors are signed up.
All shooters arer welcome to register.
The fee for the shoot is $30.
You do not have to be a Marine Corps veteran, all branches are welcome.
Even if you never served you can be sponsored by a league member.
The only requirements are that you are a dues paid member of the Delaware County Detachment in Upland, PA. ($30. per year)
You must use a general issue pistol.
1911 .45acp 5" barrel , Beretta or Taurus 92 in 9MM, or A .38 revolver with 4" barrel.
All open sights, no wraparound grips.
25 yards total of 60rounds of fire.
This year the dates are June 4th and 5th, 2011
