Question Mossberg 590 extended Action Release

Does anyone know of any companies or gunsmiths that make an extended action release for a 590? I have one that I put a Knoxx stock on and it makes it a little hard to operate (at least for me).

I have the same combo and it works like a charm ... Just shoot it "lefty"

You need to learn the "Mossberg Roll"

With your hand on the PG and the gun held across your chest, roll the gun forwards till the ejection port is facing the ground and access the release with your thumb and rack the slide.

This works especially well with FTE and stovepipes as you now have gravity working for you.

FTEs and stovepipes with a shotgun? Really? I have never experienced one.

Nobody makes such a part as far as I know.

Take apart the trigger group. Remove the action release lever. Weld/have someone weld on an extension. Reassemble. Problem solved.

I had considered doing this for one of my 500`s. However, I dont really think its all that necessary. The only time I can foresee needing to actuate the release is if you wanted to eject a chambered shell without firing it.
