    Default SKS in Philly?

Hi guys! New to the forum, live in the Northeast, and this is my first post.

I'm interested in purchasing a SKS. Any stores in the Philly area carry them?

If not, how about the surrounding counties (Bucks, Delaware, and Montco).

South Philly Archery and Gun has two in stock, plus about 6 AK-47's in different configurations.

You just missed the VF gun show....they had plenty of them.

Since you live in the NE (as do I) you could try Locks on Frankford & Rowland or Franks off of Torresdale & Blakiston.

I know Surplus City (think that's what it's called) on Bustleton Ave in Feasterville has alot of rifles, you could check there.

Surplus City was great! They had alot of rifles and at great prices. Didn't get a Yugo SKS because they were all soaked in cosmoline so I went with a Bulgarian AK 74.

Any gun ranges within an hour or two from Philly that allows rapid fire?

$375 Took it out to Classic Pistol and tested it out. Not much recoil. Very accurate too.

You may have done yourself a disservice. Part of the "coming of age" is the complete stripping, cleaning and reassembly of a rifle, especially a milsurp item. How else, or at what time, would she tell you what her name is? How she likes to be handled and caressed? How would you learn of her little intricacies, the things that make you complete as couple? BUTTTTT NNOOOOOOO! You had to go with little Ms. Fancy Smancy didn't you? (the preceding was humor, congrats on the new acquistion ).

    Be safe (and well paired).

Yeah, decosmo-ing is a right of passage. Something everyone needs to go through. I bought my SKS second hand and previous owner did all the work for me, well most of it. Lmao!

I frequent CP with my Sks, I'm a member and it's my favorite range to go to in these parts. Grats on the Ak!!

That is sort of like marrying a Divorcee, still fun as shit, but just not the same

The first SKS I got was from my Father. They were $69.95 ea, in a lot of five or more (sounds like leave in the Philippines ). Anyway, my Brother and I had to clean ALL of them and he gave us each one. More than a fair trade I would say.

    Be safe (like cougar bait).
