Laserlyte Site
Looking to add a laser to my Glock 26. Out of all the lasers out there I keep hearing about the Laserlyte. What are your thoughts?

Re: Laserlyte Site
My uncle has one on his Glock. He really likes it. I shot it, but I'm not a huge Glock guy, so it's hard to say for sure in my own opinion, but personally, it's a good site. It's just a decent chunk of money for a little laser...
But it does the job from my experience.III%

Re: Laserlyte Site
I'm turning into a big fan of lasers on my guns. Yesterday, I had shot 8" metal plates with my M&P 40c from 50 feet away by hip firing with the laser. Here's my take on your laser option, and people will prob bash me for this.
I don't like any lasers on my guns that aren't pressure activated, meaning they have to be grip lasers. I feel that the time it takes to push a button, move a lever, etc is too long if/when engaged with a threat. The grip lasers from Crimson work by just squeezing the handle as you normally would. But I don't know how the Laserlytes are activated as I couldn't find it on the website. Also, the Laserlytes seem to be a little on the big side meaning if you use that gun to carry, you may run into issues with the rear sights snagging on stuff. If it's a nightstand gun, then alls good.
Everybody has their own preference. Grip lasers are just mine. Bytheway, I also have a Glock 26 and will be adding lasers to that as well. Whatever lasers you decide to get, if you could post something saying how you like them, that would be appreciated.I would rather die in a shootout than get assassinated in a "gun free zone"

Re: Laserlyte Site
The pressure activated laser that I have seen look like that can give me a problem when holstered. At least this one in this link, http://www.crimsontrace.com/Home/Pro...3/Default.aspx. What do you recommend?

Re: Laserlyte Site
The stock Glock rear "bucket" sucks, no matter what you add to it, does it become worth more?
Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...

Re: Laserlyte Site
Yeah, that's how mine is as well. As far as holsters are concerned, I can't comment on that as I don't use one. Being winter, my carry gun just goes into my jacket pocket. Now i'm wondering if I'd have to buy a special holster for my grip lasered gun in which case the advantages to this type of laser would decrease.
Just a side note, if you did decide on a crimson, don't buy from the main website. The one for my m&p was 330.00 on the sight. I found it on a different site for 245.00, shipping included.I would rather die in a shootout than get assassinated in a "gun free zone"

Re: Laserlyte Site
A quick search on the Crimson website indicates that many holsters will work with the crimson laser grip. This makes me feel better. Check out the pdf. You just look up your gun and it will tell you which holsters will work.
