Shop recommendations in Gettysburg or Chambersburg?
I want to buy a new Glock 21 .45 and live in between Gettysburg and Chambersburg. Anyone have any shop recommendations in either of those 2 places? I've heard good things about Reddings Hardware in Gettysburg and will definitely go there if there are no other recommendations.

Have you tried Gettysburg Trading post? www.gettysburgtradingpost.com The 21 is advertised at $546. Although I have not purchased any weapons from him the last time I stopped in he was friendly and said not to "purchase" using his online buying option. Rather, come into the store. (He implied it would be slightly cheaper than advertised price) He also said he does not charge additional fees for background, etc. Its the price of gun + sales tax.
Do some homework for yourself, I am just passing on my experience (albeit minimal)
Good Luck,
Report back your experience.

Check "Hunter's Den" in Rouzerville (Rt 16, @ 3 mi East of Waynesboro).
They've treated me well on a bunch of stuff.
There is also Scotty Taylor, "Taylor's Trading post" Upper Temple Rd, Biglerville area.
Shooter's Delight (Shooter's Range) on Franklin Street extended, Chambersburg.
Matt Moore, on Warm Springs Rd., is a newer dealer, and would probably give you a real good deal. He's basically a 45 specialist. If you want to get in touch, PM me and I'll dig up his addy and phone #.

Call Doug at the Powderhorn LLC, and tell him Josh told you to call.
He doesn't carry any inventory, but can order whatever you want new. He is located in Littlestown.
I like Reddings and Taylors, but Doug can usually beat both on price.

Reddings Hardware has a huge selection of used guns, but their prices are ridiculous, the last time I was there Glocks were $550 or $575. If you don't mind driving to York, Stoneybrook Shooting Supplies has a large selection of handguns, and their prices on Glocks are usually around $500.

If you're not in a big rush, give Ron a call. He'll order any gun and sell it to you for $20.00 over his cost.
He's located along 997, just a couple miles south of I-81 exit 20.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

Re: Shop recommendations in Gettysburg or Chambersburg?
Thank you for all the recommendations. I will be calling around after Christmas to see where the best deal is.
I went into Reddings and that place is pretty insane! Couldn't even get up to the counter it was so packed but their online price for a Glock 21 w/ adjustable sights is $570 so at least now I have a baseline.
