Basic Tactical Pistol Training

A few friends and myself am looking to take a course in Basic Tactical Pistol Training.
We found a nice place out in western PA by " The Firearms Instruction, Research and Education Institute"...

We would rather not travel 5 hours away to do this for three days....

Does anyone know of a place in Eastern PA that holds training course's like this?

I would also be interested in something like this, i like the 20% class time and 80% live fire split.

Youll find here in the Pittsburgh area we have a lot of options for courses. FIRE Institute bring in top notch instructors like Randy Cain, and through Grey Group and LSHD we get Hackathorn, Vickers, SouthNarc, ect.

5 hours isnt bad, many people have to go much further. Or you could move to Pittsburgh, buy a Terrible Towel, and go native

Argive in Hellertown. Bob is a competent instructor price is very reasonable. I believe he offers a 2 dayer in pistol.

How far are you from Palmyra, we just cleared several course dates with them. The course resgistrations will be hitting our website within the next week.

As for the exact dates and courses, they will be listed once the registration is uploaded and prepared. I know we will be offering the following courses at Palmyra Sportmen's Assoc. in the first four months of the year;

Concealed Carry (2 Day)
Grounded and Wounded (1 Day)
Fundamentals of Handgun Marksmanship (1-Day)
Defensive Handgun (2-Day)
Advanced Defensive Carbine (3-Day)

May be interested in some pistol classes...I have had about all the training with carbines and rifles I need/can stand through the military.

I have heard nothing but GREAT feedback rearding DAT, and am looking forward to attending at least one (hopefully two!) of these courses in the upcoming months.
