The gun buy back programs can be a good thing for gun owners! They can actually be a source of profit!!! LOL.. next time you at at the gun shop and you see that beat up old 12 gauge that they are asking $50 for or that junk star 22 for $75 pick them up and do as I do. Wait for the next gun buy back program where they offer $200 and take the gun down and make a profit. I have two junkers right now waiting for the next one.

Has anyone heard Targetmaster's latest radio ads? They are an "official buy-back facility, licensed by the State of PA and the BATF". They pay up to $500 cash. Program expires Feb 28.

    Brilliant.
Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

Of course not...it's just an ad. Same as all the used car dealers with banners saying "Cash for clunkers is back...UP TO $5000 for your trade!"

i've never been to a gun buy back program but i'm guessing the key word is "up to" 200 bucks, my guess is most people get offered much less than that unless your handing in an AR or something else scary looking then ya might get 200 bucks

Some break it down according to the "evilness" of the weapon, some don't. They rarely give cash, it's almost always a gift card. Those gift cards are bought with money supplied by the tax payers or donated by Bloomberg or various anti gun groups, individuals or corporations. So they don't care that they are giving you $200 for a $50 gun. It's not their money.
