    Thanks for the link Sam. Currently my 6x-18x50 is a thorn in my side cause I can't find a set of rings to mount it on my 270. Even the "oversize" marked are too short. Later this morning we're going to shoot our muzzleloaders in prep for the season. I like the tru-glo since the dot covers my aimpoint and keeps the groups tight. Later. Dave.

    Um, I'm a bit confused by this post as well. I don't see any links or anybody named Same participating in this thread. If you could provide more information than you have, we might be able to help you solve the mounting problem. While a 50mm objective isn't small, it's certainly not impossible to find a set of rings that will mount it high enough. The scope on my custom rifle has a 56mm objective, so 50mm is a cakewalk. More info and less babbling please, so that we can maybe help you out.
