Smile Who Carries the Same all the time?

Question with this Artic blast we are getting here in Pa right now. Does this cold weather change your carry status? If your an Open Carry person do you keep it that way all the time even with your big winter coat on? If your a Concealed person do you switch it up to open carry? If your a IWB carry do you go OWB? Just wondering what the Weather conditions if any change your status?

I always CC with a IWB Crossbreed Supertuck, I like to keep it the same all the time that way everything is the same with my draw if needed. I have tried OWB but I just don't feel comfortable with it. CCIWB for me.

How about the rest of you?

Merry Christmas (and yes it is still ok to say Merry Christmas)

I carry OWB with a kydex paddle holster (same way all the time). Button down tucked in or tee shirt out but strong side tucked behind holster. What determines OC or CC for me is weather conditions. Summer time obviously would be OC most of the time other than if I'm going somewhere that might be questionable. Winter time requires a coat so it's CC for now at least outside. I sometimes remove my coat once I'm inside an establishment if I get too warm.

Concealed Carry always. Most of the time it is in a Kramer belt scabbard, when I want more concealment I will use one of my IWB holsters (several to choose from).

I count on my training & practice to deal with the additional garments in winter time carry. I.E. more dry fire practice from my winter concealment garments.

I am currently trying out a new gun, a Springfield EMP, again using a Kramer OWB horsehide belt scabbard with it. Have been looking for an IWB holster for it, and I am thinking of getting a Garrett Industries "Silent Thunder IWB".

Not 100% sold on it, but looks promising.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

I prefer to carry OWB in either my leather 3-slot or my Serpa Blackhawk. I only CC when it's so cold that I need to wear a jacket that covers my belt, otherwise, I very rarely change my mode of carry. I have a Supertuck for the Ruger, but it's very rare that I use it.

Carry OWB all the time whether I have a coat on or a tshirt. Don't like to change things around to much.

Yeah, you don't want to confuse the PPD by changing your carry method either

    OWB

    OC if no coat
    CC if coat needed.

Why change? It's just a coat after all....
