Re: Firearm's Owners Against Crime, Gun Bash!!!!!
Thanks for posting the video. It's a great idea those guys had. And I agree with you, they aren't "illegal guns" as some misinformed politicians will tell you, they are "innocent defenseless guns to be saved from the smelter" as you mentioned.
Maybe at a minimum we as individuals can stand on the public sidewalk outside the event with signs "I'LL BUY WORKING GUNS FOR MORE, $$$CASH$$$". Or even better would be for a Pro-Gun group to rent the place next door for people to pull into with a large "SELL YOUR GUNS HERE FOR CASH" sign. The group could provide the individual literature about the constitution and why the 2nd Amendment is important, possibly to encourage the individual to take their gun back home to cherish this freedom they have. If they insist on giving up a usable gun, the group could buy it (at $30 or whatever more they'll get in grocery store certificates) and sell it at market value using the profit to educate more people. Imagine the press they'll get!

Came down to ACE and got a couple of tickets for myself and my friend. Very friendly representatives of FOAC and ACE staff there.
