Super Shorty's
At the monroville Gun show I was looking at some super shorty's. I was wondering if anyone around the Pittsburgh area sell's them. Also I guess I will need some kind of tax stamp because It is listed as Any other weapon. How hard is that to get and how do I get it.
I love the look and feel of the gun's and would love to add one to my collection

Re: Super Shorty's
Super Shorty's like the one Serbu makes requires only the AOW (Any Other Weapon) $5 stamp.
One day I will get on for the collection. Would make a great home defense gun.

Re: Super Shorty's
I've moved this to the NFA section... as this is a NFA topic.
the first thing you want to do is read this:
http://forum.pafoa.org/nfa-class-3-t...a-jaybell.html
then find a dealer... there are several in PA nearish to pittsburgh.
I own a Serbu shorty, its a fun gun for sure.
also, its a little dark... but used by Dolph lundgren in "The Expendables"...

Re: Super Shorty's
Thanks for moving it... Also that is great info I just book marked it but I have a few questions that were not that clear to me. So this would classified as any other weapon? Do AOW have to be approved buy the CLEO like auto guns and silencers, Or do you just pay the tax at the dealer and go home with the gun? Sorry for all the questions but I just wanna make sure I have all my ducks in a row before I go shopping.

Re: Super Shorty's
an AOW is an NFA firearm, thus, same process as described in the sticky for all NFA.
unfortunately, no NFA is "cash and carry" like a regular Title 1 firearm like a pistol.
to note, the Serbu shorty is classifid as an AOW not for the vertical foregrip, but because its a "Smooth bore pistol that fires a fixed shotshell"
Also, as noted... you can carry this loaded and concealed or in your vehicle with a LTCF."Oderint Dum Metuant" - BMFH
