You should probably get a lawyer to defend you against the criminal charges. Frankly, I want to thank you for becoming what we have all beheld and getting busted with drugs while carrying. Gives the rest of us great reputations. </sarcasm>

Hmm, let's see. The latter is a right (not to be confused with other "rights" such as free health care), is an enjoyable pastime, and allows you to defend you and your's life and liberty. The former is a way to waste a Thursday night, $20 in pizza, and several brain cells.

    Tough call.

BTW, love the Monty Python reference.

Carrying with the FL license will surely get to the front page of the Inquirer should you be detained, arrested again, giving the pols and press more ammo for the denial of the FL license option in PA. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Seems I missed the part where the OP actually stated he had drugs on him.

All he stated was that he was arrested. We are talking about Philly people, where conviction rates are absurdly terrible and unjust arrests aren't unheard of.

So unless the OP chooses to admit here that he was in fact in possession I'm going to take the side of innocent until proven guilty, and not guilty until proven innocent.

    Edit to add:

I tried to be; you really need a lawyer to sort out the mess you're in, and the bit about the fact that your PA LTCF can't be "suspended" should help in case you never read 6109 before.

    False.

Yes maybe we (I) am saying he's gulity untill proven other wise.
But I know even in PR of Philly the chances of you being picked up on a narc charge drops to *almost nil- IF you don't have any on or near you inc the others in the car.

*not that we have never heard of poeple being arrested and tazed over BS charges.

I suspect he may be guilty, but we don't have proof to confirm it. What we do know* is that Florida gave him another license, and Delaware County didn't revoke his PA LTCF. Sure a "suspension" isn't lawful, but if the Sheriff isn't sure his permit should be revoked I find it hard to jump on the guilty bandwagon until we learn more.

*assuming the OP is being truthful

How long ago did this occur, and did Pa snatch your Fla LTCF, because you state that Fla sent you a new one?!!?

    signed JAC (just as confused)

Actually you are correct I was confused. A minor drug conviction does not stop you from owning but any drug conviction stops you from getting a LTCF.

    Correct?

So i guess it depends how minor this arrest is and if it will hold up. Yes people have been wrongly convicted for drugs, see Camden PD scandal.

Even if it's legal I wouldn't not suggest carrying until you get this cleared up.
