While I will respect your opinion I would have to disagree. I'm all for rights and choices if someone chooses to use any form of arrow or bolt firing device that is their choice. I don't think that they should be barred from using any of these tools. Plus then your limiting the ability for injured people to hunt during archery who may enjoy the sport better that way but aren't healthy enough to use those choices you are forcing upon them.

Re: Crossbow or Compound Bow
I'm not trying to attack you I just am making conversation. I don't think archery is truly about getting in touch with the Indians for those who engage in the activity. Again I respect your opinion but the government controls enough when it comes to hunting I don't think we should give them control to limit us to "old" technology and I'm sure many would agree. If you are saying from a moral standpoint you would like to see people use the older technology that makes more sense. However, I still would not partake in that. There are some benefits to being born in this time frame and newer better hunting tools are part of that so I choose to use them.

Re: Crossbow or Compound Bow
Your walking a thin line here, its one thing to have an opinion, its another to start bashing a time honored tradition. If you don't have any real input, do not post. Iraqvet, I'll post later today and give you some pointers, but to give you a quick answer, use whichever method you're most comfortable with.
