The 2008 Military Rifle Shoot Schedule starts,
January 20th, 2008 - Battle of the Bulge - WW II rifles
followed by,
February 17th, 2008 - Bastogne - WW II rifles
Note: The remainder of the Schedule to be determined.
WW II Rifles means any Military Rifle used by any Nationality during WWll Era,
A Few Examples: Garand, M1 Carbine, 03A3, Enfield, Mauser, Mosin-Nagant, K31, Carcano

From Lancaster: - Take Route 222 / 272 south to the town of Willow Street - continue south on Route 272 until the intersection of 372 - Turn left (east) on to Route 372 - approximately 1.2 miles turn left on to Hollow Road - approximately 1/4 mile the Club will be on the left.

From Quarryville: - From the traffic light at the intersection of Route 222 and Route 372 (Turkey Hill Minit Market) go west on Route 372 for approximately 2.3 miles - turn right on to Hollow Road - approximately 1/4 mile, Club will be on the left.

From Oxford: - Take Route 272 north to the intersection of Route 372 - turn right (east) on to Route 372-approximately 1.2 miles turn left on to Hollow Road - approximately 1/4 mile the Club will be on the left.

or
- Take Route 472 north to Quarryville and then follow the directions from Quarryville.

From Harrisburg: - Take Route 283 east to the Millersville / Route 741 exit - take Route 741 east to the town of Willow Street - turn right (south) on to Route 272 until the intersection of Route 372 - turn left (east) on to Route 372 -approximately 1.2 miles turn left on to Hollow Road - approximately 1/4 mile the Club will be on the left.

January 20th - Battle of the Bulge - WWII rifles

February 17th - Bastogone - WWII rifles

March 16th - Military - any nationality

April 20th - Military Bolt Action - any nationality

May 18th - Antique and bolt action
awards given each category,
may shoot one or both categories

June 8th - D-Day - WW II rifles - any nationality

July 20th - Any Nationality

August 17th - Vietnam Era - any nationality

September 21st - M1 Garand and M1 Carbine
as issued service rifles only

October 19th - Any Nationality

From 100yds., 10 Offhand-slow fire, 10 Sitting-Rapid Fire, 10 Prone-Rapid Fire, 20 Prone-Slow Fire. Note: 2 Siders before each! I believe all targets are a 14in 10ring except for Prone-Slow Fire which I'm told simulates a 600yd. distance.
Allowed Rifles: As Issued Open Sights;
Examples,
Garand, M1A, M1 Carbine, 03 &03A3, Enfield, Mausers, Mosin-Nagants, SKSs.......I sure I missed a few but definitely NO FULL AUTO!
