Question Decided on a New Glock, Now What Caliber ?

    Here's what I currently have ,
    Sig 1911 45 ACP
    Glock 19 9mm
    Bersa Thunder 380
    Beretta PX Storm sub-compact 40 S&W
    Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Mag.

I decided on another Glock because of their durability and reliability but don't know if I should go with the 20, 21, 30, or 31.
The 20 is 10 mm and the 31 357 auto and both these cartridges are harder to find. Either one is a powerhouse especially the 10mm in Winchesters SilverTip load or the powerful DoubleTap or Buffalo Bore loads, this would be prime. The 357 Auto round is basically a 357 for autos and would also be a powerhouse. But all of the gunshops in my neck of the woods only have little or none of both. In 10mm the main shop I go to they only carry Hornady {Which is the Medium Velocity stuff} or SilverTips. In 357 sig they have nothing right now ! I really love the ballistics of both of these rounds but the availability has me thinking twice but at the same time I want something different. What should I do ?

    Get a Glock 23.

.40 is easy to find, the size of the 23 allows for a great capacity in a small size.

*I have been carring one every day for almost two years now, so I guess you can say im biased!!

Out of the calibers you listed, i'd go with the 10mm.

I own only two Glocks and if it were my choice it would be no choice at all.
I have 2 Glock 29's. You go wrong with the 10mm.

Have to admit I have a love with the 10mm. I also have two Deltas, two Kimber 10mm, and two S&W 10mms.

Look like you have all the bases covered. I don't know unless you want to repeat a caliber one of the short Glocks in 45acps or Glock 22 full size 40 cal or G23 the same size a G19 but 40 cal.

You are getting pretty much like me, you need another gun like a bullet in the head. But that didn't stop me from buying more!! I have 3 Glocks 21sf, G23 and G19.

My thoughts exactly. The shop does have 10mm Silvertips which is considered a full power load and although only two types of ammo they are always on the shelf.
Guess I'll go with the Glock 20 ! Thanks guys !!

Heres my opinion for what its worth:
I would go with the 10mm hands down and learn how to reload.

I have both a Glock 20 in 10mm and Glock 31 in .357 sig. I vote would definitely be the G20. I love the 10mm cartridge... However, it's expensive and hard to find the ammo. The .357 sig is cheaper and much easier to find. I reload, so the above is not an issue for me. My suggestion would be the G20 with plans to start reloading... Eventually you'll be shooting to get brass for reloading!
