Ruger P85 - anyone have one I can...never mind, I bought one, lol
Philadelphia has yet to give me back my pistol, and I am going nuts. I've been trying really hard to ignore this naked feeling, but I can't take it anymore. Does anyone in the Philadelphia area have a Ruger I can borrow for a few more weeks? My neighbor had to take his back since he started getting back into shooting (he found about 10 extra rounds of JHPs in the mag, hmm, wonder how they got there ), so for the past couple weeks I've felt like I've been forgetting something as I head out.
Anyway, if anyone can help a brother out, I'd really appreciate it, and you'll find it comes back to you in slightly better shape or slightly better equipped than when it left.Last edited by ViperGTS19801; December 10th, 2010 at 04:13 PM.

Sorry to hear you're gun-less again.
I know we discussed this ad nasuem before, but you're too broke to pick up a Kel Tec or something? Even on credit? I'm not busting balls, just asking.
I've done Budsgunshop.com's financing before and it was pretty easy and I have not so great credit.
Again, not busting balls, just asking. I can only imagine the depths of my despair if the PPD took one of my guns.Selling off a a sizeable Spyderco collection here

My money isn't really your business, but I will say that buying a stop-gap gun is not a possibility right now.

I may be inclined to take you up on that. H-Burg isn't too far away, and another member here loaned me a Glock for a short while from the last thread. I loved it.
If no one else is willing to help a brother out from closer, I may PM you. Thank you for the possible offer.
Anyone closer?Junior

Yes. I'm asking a favor of the community. It's not that unbelievable.

Probably not my business but why was it taken? Also, I don't know about you but I don't think I could lend a firearm to even my family members. Just too much risk involved.

P85? That's pretty old-school. A solid handgun either way. Do you think you'll be able to get yours back?
