Default P220 Super Match, But No Custom Shop Logo?

I picked this up recently. In every way, it appears to be a 220 Super Match (and shoots great, BTW), but, it doesn't have the distinctive SIG-Sauer Custom Shop logo stamped into the slide (the pic shows just one side, but it's on neither). I understood that every Super Match came from their Custom Shop. Is this not the case? Thanks!

The stock photo doesn't appear to have the Custom Shop logo on it. You'll be hard put to it to find a better target gun in that price range. Enjoy!

Thanks! I love the gun, and have no reason to think it's not a Super Match, but it's a curiosity. I think the custom shop logo's normally on the other side of the slide. If you use the 360 degree rotate from this link, you'll see it. Also, the notes say:

"SIG SAUER® P220® Super Match is a tack driving machine. A limited production Custom Shop model, the .45ACP Super Match features a 5" barrel, Single Action Only (SAO) trigger system, lightweight alloy Beavertail frame with hard coat anodize finish, front strap checkering, front cocking serrations, custom wood grips, SIG SAUER Adjustable Target Sights and SIG SAUER Custom Shop logo engraved on the slide."

Interesting, maybe its a way to cut costs without cutting the quality?

Could be. I wonder if I can check w/SIG-Sauer, by way of the serial number. Probably worth a shot, er, try.

    Called SIG-Sauer.

My gun was born in August 2007 (I bought it used, but rarely if ever fired), and at that time, they didn't stamp the Custom Shop insignia into the slide. It is confirmed to be a Super Match though.
