    Default Sig 229 ejector problem?

Hi Guys , i just noticed that my Sig 229 ejector has some play in it , sort of up and sown play not side to side a tiny bit but it still worries me.

Is this Normal on a Sig? Or should i be concerned about it.
? The Gun functions flawlessly, never a problem since day one .

I searched the web but have not come across any info on it.

    Thanks, Nyman

On the P229 and P226 that is completely normal. Pending the year of manufacture, the play will be more or less noticeable.

If it's not broke don't fix it! I'm sure it's fine. If the play is when there's no tension on it from a round being chambered then I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

When the chamber is empty, my P229 Elite's ejector has slight play in it as well. When there is a round chambered, its pretty tight. Haven't had a failure of any kind yet with the P229. Great little gun! Love it. I would buy a P226 in a heartbeat. Too bad I can't find any with the stainless frame, beavertail, SRT and night sights.
