if your interested in a survival forum go to survivalistboards.com, there is some great info there, mostly actual survival info not much on stockpiling guns for a non exsistant zombie apocolypse, more about disaster preparation

We're all aware there are other survivalist forums on the interwebs. This thread is not about finding a good one. It is about making a survival subforum on PAFOA so that we can have and discuss 'local' survivalist information from fellow Pennsylvanians and from users we already know and trust (or distrust) from this board.

Since no survival subforum has been created...I"ll throw this out there.

My friend and I are looking into testing out some of our new gear...the weekend before or after Easter. We are looking to meet some more folks, so if you aren't busy and want to do a weekend camping trip, PM me. I'd like to meet up with the people for lunch/dinner prior to the camping trip, since we want to make sure that we all get along.

There is a pond and also a creek if you want to fish. We also have access to land, if you want to do some shooting.

We will determine the exact weekend in the next few days. Location will be in Dauphin Co. Look forward to hearing from you.
