Question Employer question on the LTCF application

Does anyone know what the Montco sheriff's office would do if you just left the employer blocks on the application blank? Would they deny the license?

I don't want anyone calling my employer about my application for an LTCF and have read threads here that in Delaware County they frequently call your employer. I don't understand why they would want to verify my employment when you don't need to have a job to get the license.

Anyone have any info or experience with leaving those blocks on the application form blank? Thanks.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Well, someone suggested I ask in the Montco forum and that made a lot of sense since sheriff's offices are 'interpreting' the law in various ways around the state – and I'll be applying in Montgomery.
