    Default NRA Range Safety Officer Course - Dec 18, 2010 (Bucks County)

    Team Life, Inc. is sponsoring the NRA Range Safety Office (RSO) course on Saturday December 18, 2010 in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. Registration begins at 0800 and class begins by 8:30 AM and will complete approximately at 5:30 PM including a working lunch. RSO course cost is $165 and includes lunch and morning snacks. Class size is limited so pre-registration and payment is required to secure your seat to be received by Team Life, Inc. no later than December 10, 2010. A fee of $50 will be charged if you cancel your attendance after December 10, 2010 and no refund will be provided if canceling after December 17, 2010. Materials are included in course fee and RSO course completion certificate will be presented after successful completion of the 9 hour course and passing written test (open book). NRA processing fee is not included as fees varry depending membership status and on how many disciplines you already have with the NRA.

    Short Description : Develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

    More Details: This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom and at a shooting facility. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, an Instructor Application/Course Evaluation form.
