Default Applied for out-of-state resident LTCF

Hey guys, just joined your forum. There's tons of great information on here and definitely very knowledgeable people!

I live in Seattle, going to be moving to PA in the next few months. Just sent in for my PA LTCF.

Does anybody know what I need to do when I change my residence to PA?

Your LTCF will be good for 5 years. I don't believe you'd have to do anything until then. I'd still contact the local sherrif after you move for an address change. Sure othes will be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

Welcome to the site and to Pa when time comes

As DonM55 pointed out, your LTCF is still valid if you move here. While you are not legally obligated to notify the issuing Sheriff of your change in address when you do move, it's a wise idea.

Just curious, as it shouldn't matter anyway, did you apply for an LTCF in the County you'll be moving into?

    Thanks, Don!

@IronSign - Was directed by handgunlaw.us to apply in Centre County for non-resident license by mail.

Ah, well that makes sense. I only asked since some counties in PA try to make up their own rules despite State law. Centre County isn't doing things 100% right, but overall they're not terrible and are very used to non-resident applications. You shouldn't have any problems.
