Appleseed is a weekend long clinic on rifle marksmanship and American heritage. The links are in my sig line.

That is awesome. I am going to (already registered) the January one in Manheim. If any of you fellow Pafoa Members are going let me know. I think it would be a great way to shoot and have fun and maybe learn a thing or two.

It's a great program. Show up with an open mind and be ready to have fun. Chainsaw does a great job with the Appleseed.

This weekend shooters in Wisconsin and Ohio were the first to earn the "ice patch."

It looks like the high temp this coming weekend for the Beaver Falls Appleseed is 32˚ so it just might qualify.

The following weekend in Manheim is looking good too.

If it is too warm, like 33 or so and sunny, would it qualify as an exception to get the blue patch if I wore a bikini the whole time?

I'm going to keep coming back until I keep most of shots in the 5 zones.

Or until I get too much sunburn

I'm taking an AK class on the 18th of Dec. If I can get thru the snow. So, I may have to consider a Winterseed Class too. What the heck. I got the clothing to keep me warm. It's more bragging rights if you do it in the middle of winter.

And I love the patch. Do you really get one like it?
