REWARD for info about stolen guns
REWARD offered for information leading to recovery of guns stolen from my father's home in north central West Virginia on November 23...thieves may try to sell the guns in WV or Pennsylvania or another neigboring state. Obviously, we can't get to all of the gun shops and gun shows within driving distance, so I would ask that you review this list of stolen guns, maybe print it out and take it with you to the next gun show, and pass it on to your friends as well. I have attached Word and PDF versions to this message. Feel free to visit my Facebook page (Robin Cleavenger), e-mail me at bluegrasspr@yahoo.com or call 865-254-2135 if you have trouble downloading from this post or if you need more information. Hope there isn't a rule against this...I couldn't find a rule about where stolen gun listings should be posted. If I need to post it somewhere else, please let me know.
I just don't know how else to get the word out fast!

Re: REWARD for info about stolen guns
Hey Robin,
I'm heading to show by Richmond, VA this weekend, I'll keep an eye out, But I would'nt expect much as these are usually recovered through Police searches rather then Citizens getting lucky. But hopefully something will give for you.
Good Luck

Re: REWARD for info about stolen guns
It sucks to here BS like this and I hope this guy recovers all or even some of his property but, I bet you them guns were not kept in a safe. I hear stories like this all the time. Guys with tens of thousands of dollars worth of guns laying around there house just waiting for some smash and grab douche bag to steal all because they were to cheap to buy a safe. Good luck to your father I hope them scumbags get caught.

Re: REWARD for info about stolen guns
Not everyone has room for a safe in there home. The only place I could put one is in my basement However, it is to damp and I would never get it back out when I move. I would never be able to put it on an upstairs floor, I would be afraid that the floor could not take it and it may wind up in the basement regardless. I have an alarm on the house and if I'm going away for any length of time I store them at a friends home that has a safe.
You can't fix stupid....... So I try to ignore Liberals!

Re: REWARD for info about stolen guns
I don't have a big house didn’t stop me from protecting my investments. I know plenty of people with safes in there basements all you have to do is get it up off the floor and run a dehumidifier when it gets damp. If you don’t want to muscle it out when you move you just sell it with the house. My house was built in the early 50's and my safe weights 900lbs empty and I don't have any problems with it falling through the floor.

Re: REWARD for info about stolen guns
Did you report the guns stolen to the police? I think that would greatly increase the chance of ever seeing them again.
