Indestructable? AK???

If you haven't seen this clip yet it is supposed to be an insurgent that has his AK blow it's self apart while firing full auto.

i guess you take the commit literally huh. can happen to any gun. could of been a squib from the last round. Gunpowder in tight spaces can do alot of destruction

No weapon is indestructible, not even the AKM platform. On the plus side, it appears that the sling and magazine are still in good shape.

It would be hard for a squib to do that, a squib would not cycle the action to put a fresh round in the chamber. I am going to guess and say that it was most likely a primer detonated before the cartridge was securely in the chamber, that is what that would look like.

More than likely their hight exstensive "INSHAH ALLAH" maintenance program along with their care on and concern over weapons inspections led to this failure. If you could only see how much time and effort they put into taking care of their weapons you would laugh.

So one AK out of 70 million blows up - so? How many AR's out of 7 million produced to date Have blown ?

2 space shuttles out of 7 produced have blown up, do the math, get the Picture?

The odds are with the AK i would think ah?

And an "Insurgent" thats a strange word , made popular since 2001 , the newest word they use to Brainwash us, e.g How can a man fighting in his own country be called an insurgent? Its like the British calling George Washington's troops "Terrorist" Oh i forgot- They did.

Sorry quite a few weapons blow up when you burry them in the sand for years and then just shake them off and fire.

Well lets see, the Insurgents I have been running int here are from a few different countries and live in Pakisatn. So Insurgent is the shoe that fits for a great many of them.

Wow, people get quite upset when you pick on an AK...

... Relax people, I own one also. It's a ton of fun to shoot. Youtube also had a clip of what looked like a Vietnam era M-16 blow up. Now that would have really hurt, they are a bit harder and more expensive to come by.
