I'd think I'd give them a funny look and say " this is Pennsylvania, we do stuff like this here, if you don't like it go live in some other country like NYC. I prefer to be in a free country, you know- the USA?". ( Even though I live in MD, but such an encounter by myself would be in PA, unless an anti starts harrassing me while I am hunting or trapping, then I'd let the DNR sort them out with a fine). Oh they can even try the guns and bible you- are- a-stupid-hillbilly name calling, and I will tell them that I am an agnostic freethinker.

Being a federal LEO, something similar happened to me once in a wal-mart. I flashed my badge, reamed the assholes (there were two) out for a while and coldly told them just how close they were to Violating 18 USC 241 Conspiracy against rights. This law was designed to protect against racism, but the wording says: in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same Legally its a stretch for me to threaten to arrest two people for giving me a bunch of lines about how they're going to call the cops on me for carrying, but they don't know that. So it generally ends any annoyances quickly and it discourages the actors involved from trying it again if they think they can be arrested for harrasing someone about carrying. Maybe GunLawyer001 can correct me if I'm too far wrong?

These type of people will only harass those who they do not perceive to be a true threat them. It was obvious that ReconLDR was with his family and not a dangerous criminal. They will, however, treat these people as though they are a grave threat to all those around them.
