do they have the "SF" style available in 9mm? I currently only shoot 9mm in terms of pistols.

Gen 4 costs are the same as 3rd Gen costs. Whether dealers try to get a few more bucks for a rarer gun when the first come out, is up in the air.

Where I work, we sell them for the same price (LE only).

    No.

The SF grips are all bigger than any of the 9mm grips. 4th Gen's are the only way to get smaller. The 4th Gen 19's and 17's have been out for a while now.

I'll have to visit a range to see if they have 1 I can rent.

If you don't qualify for LE pricing, do yourself a favor and join the GSSF. That will entitle you to the discount for one handgun purchase per year, and will allow you to take the Armorer's Class if you want.

Right now through our main distributor, the following Glock Gen4 models are available, 17,19,22,and 23. They show the 26,27,31,35 and 37s available soon. The Gen4s run $35 to $40 more. The last one I ordered for a customer came with 3 magazines, so the pistol actually was only $10 more than what we price Gen 3s at.

If a dealer says they are the same price, perhaps they have been paying a few dollars more for Gen 3s than we do.
    Those who dare.
