At the range this morning on the pistol side before the rain came....Brand new wood and that black backing stuff they use....

Hit the 50yd range after the rain, not bad made my annual fudd trip and verified my hunting rifles zero. All good.

Hit the pistol range on Thurs. Not bad but a woman gave me stick eye because I made her put down the 22 revolver she was loading when we were cold. But fuck her couch.

Couch ? I must be getting old whatever.Range time with wife and guess what ! No Squibs and shes gotten past that experience shooting her Taurus 85 ultra lite.Glock time for me and 22 rifle sighting in.Recent medical history prevented me from getting to do deer hunting this year,maybe a member will take pity on me and give 1-2 lbs of venison ? beautiful day young guy and his lady shooting a H K very well I may add we were all aware of saftey for each other and respectful,Lady was retrieving her spent casings and offered our 9mm & 38 but they were shooting 40sw. MDT

Range time,windy did not stay long targets blew off backdrop.Newer backdrops good shape.No one else on the range at 10 am.

Windy is right! Spent half an hour just after noon trying the boy's savage rascal .22 at the 50yd. Not bad!
Backs were a bit shot up but held my sheet. Some mud and a little puddle at the target but plenty of dry room to work and dry walkway.

01/06/2016 Firt range post of the year for me.temps 33 degrees and no wind,beautiful out here no one shooting so wife got to shoot her newest addition to her small collection a S&W model 60 38spl pre lock and high polised stainless steel she felt bad for getting it dirty from shooting but lead away made it look like new.Shot my Glock 22 & 23 today fine day for shooting at around 10 am.A newbie shooter showed up with a taurus revolver 6 inch 44 magnum his first gun after 8 rounds he started to pack up and we determined it was the cost of the ammo $48 a boxx of 50 he said he paid $749 at Gander over the holidays enamored with the 44 mag dirty harry round.He was not happy with the recoil and told him he could shoot 44 specials out of it a less recoil and a little less cost ! IHe is giving though to getting the same gun in 357 magnum and tradeing the 44 mag off. We have all had some disallusionment with some guns in our life,oh well. MDT
