you are abosolutly correct. I know exactly what I will do if it ever happens again. Thats not my usual persona to say nothing. In most instances I have a ballsy big mouth and take no crap from anyone. I yelled at the kids ands left with my friend. For some reason I was not into conflict at that moment. Not sure why because people who know me know that I am completely different than that. Like I responded to MDT, I am really upset with myself. I was even talking to my girlfriend late last night about it in bed. How I know that this nimrod with two kids has at least two pistols that I know of that should have nothing. I cant correct the past, I can only improve it for the future. Thx, Joe

Went to the range today, arrived 10:45 am. 3 guys on the pistol and 1 guy on the rifle range. My neighbor is having trouble with a remmy sps stainless in 223, we put in a Timney and it got alittlebetter, but I think the stock is a POS. I brought along a Weatherby X vanguard in 30-06, and with Hornady 150 Whitetail hunter it shooting 3/4 inch at 100 yards. Strange after about 45 minutes 2 old guys show up, want to stop every 5 minutes to go check their target that they were shooting with a 22. I don't think either one ever heard of a spotting scope. It was a beautiful day.

Was at the range today from 9:15 to 11:00 am... Brought my Father and neighbor, two other people there, one more showed up when we were leaving... All on the pistol side ... The ten yard upper 2x4 was split in one area, I was surprised being only two days after Holiday weekend...

I was there on Saturday afternoon. The backing material they hang was shot to crap, but the supporting 2x4's were all still intact.

Does anyone know how often they replace the backing material for targets? It is a pain to try to hang targets when it is old and "holy". I don't know why a shooter can't bring their own portable target stands. I can understand not allowing steel targets at a public range, but why not personal frames to hang paper/cardboard targets.
