I will steer clear on weekends. The Fridays I have been there have been OK. Carbon County has a longer pistol range (25 yards), but it's not real busy when I'm there during in the weekdays.

i absolutley hate the 25 yard pistol range. I dont ever plan on shooting a pistol at 25 yards if i can help it. 10 yards 7 yards etc would be much better. but of course its aimed at hunters and not people practicing with their SD sidearm. The SGL is 25 yards in hawley too.

I agree in that it is bit of a challenge shooting a small pocket pistol at 25 yards. I know I've had a bad day shooting when I can reuse the target for the next time!

I think that the Archbald pistol range is 15 yards, if that would be better for some of you.

Sunday,at Tobyhanna Range just two shooters at the Pistol side all very friendly and Gentlemen were all being saftey conscious.Shooting my New Springfield Armory 45 stainless,went thru two boxes of ammo and had the watchers drooling,and because of their demeanor invited themto shoot the gun also,they were pleasantly surprised at accuracy and recoil favorably.Good time for all !

Went shooting today,getting too cold to reload my 22 lr magazines with cold fingers,the 45 acps went into the mag a lot easier,Met Two Ladies shooting shared some info we tried each others handguns also.

got some digits eh? smoooth.. I want to come up and shoot my ak.. but the 3rnd limit is kind of

Its actually saves you lots of ammo while you are making every shot to count.
When i go I usually shoot 200 rounds in 2 hours. Without this rule I would have dump that 200 in what? 30 minutes slowly reloading?

Is there a no rapid fire rule? No double taps? I know what you mean about making the shots count and not just spraying downrange.
