open carry advocate told to conceal at ETF rally, Philly

Here is David Codrea's comment re: this past weekends incident in which an open carry advocate backed-down after the unlawful demands of a Philly cop.

I wonder if 50 -100 open carry folks showed up how they would handle it.

I never go to Philly but I understand this is commonplace for the cops there.

What will it take for the cops to obey the law and not coerce and intimidate law abiding citizen exercising their right to carry?
