Re: IDPA matches
First one for my home club of West Shore Sportsmen (just outside of Harrisburg) is the last Sunday of the month in February, 2008.
You can get a fairly comprehensive listing of IDPA matches, directions to ranges, contacts, etc. at Walt Jones' excellent compilation of all things North East Pennsylvania (and other nearby reaches) IDPA at the www.nepaidpascores.net website.

Re: IDPA matches
How about an indoor shoot that is from Central to Western PA. I can't believe that no one shoots indoors all winter. mmmmm.

Re: IDPA matches
Can't find people crazy enough to do IDPA outside in the winter. But I thought there may be some matches inside. I miss it big time.

Don't know where your from. But if it is near Altoona. Holidaysburg Sportmans Association runs a really good shoot starting in April. I have a blast there. And it is a good bunch of people.

Re: IDPA matches
The following clubs run monthly winter matches outdoors:
Wilkes Barre Rifle [Hunlock Creek]
Factoryville Sportsmen Assoc
Blue Ridge Cherry Valley [Sciota]
Ontelaunee R&G [New Tripoli]
Phillipsburg R&G [Yes, in NJ!] - They also run indoor matches one Wednesday/month.
As NoHackr mentioned, all of this stuff is detailed on Walt Jones' nepa site.
I'm a member of Ontelaunee and am running this month's match this Sunday 1/27, hammer down 10 am. 8 Stages, 92 rounds. Should be fun and it's our first ever winter local match.
There's a whole group of us nuts who travel around to many of these matches and we all are hopeless IDPA addicts.
Buy some hand warmers, put on your long johns and head out!

Re: IDPA matches
I've shot 4 matches so far this year (including a sanctioned match) and could've shot 5. It really just depends on how far you're willing to travel.
If you want to check out IDPA in PA and surrounding areas, go to www.nepaidpascores.net That site has just about everything that is going on in the world of IDPA in this area.Drew Bingaman Chair Susquehanna Valley Libertarian Party
