Parker Hale L81 A2
I've been offered a 1942 Parker Hale L81 A2.
From the family of the original owner, who only know that it has a crown stamped on it and the letters RNP.
He believes it was used by the British Royal Marines, I can't find a reference to that, but the RNP could be Royal Navy Police.
The one he has is a .303 and uses a magazine (5 or 6 shot, he thinks)
I know zip about these, and can't really locate anything like it on Gunbroker.com, so I have nothing to judge value. Just seems like it might be a cool rifle to grab up at the right price.
Not trying to stick this guy, I'm looking, assuming good cosmetic condition and that it fires, for a price range and any background info.
Anyone here able to help?
Thanks,
Dave
