Default Should prices be left in the ad AFTER the sale?

I've seen various forums mandate that prices be left in the ad after the sale has been completed. Is that something we should consider here?

I don't think it should be a mandate, as it's the poster's personal preference as to what he wants to do with the info afterward. However, I do find it nice when researching current or past prices for a certain firearm. But I don't really like the idea of forcing the poster to do anything to his post he doesn't want to.

i agreee with above. Shouldnt be mandatory at all of course. However, it is useful to know what things are going for. No way to mandatory though.

I can see it as being useful to others who want to post similar items, but it shouldn't be required. There's nothing stopping members from contacting each other privately to research appropriate pricing before listing an item for sale.

I would have no issue telling someone privately what I sold an item for, but I wouldn't want to have the info posted so the whole world can see how much money I just took in if I sold something. Maybe that's just me.
