    Exclamation pfa advice

My pfa has elapsed. I want the firearms back wich are family heirlooms is there a waiting period before I can go to the sheriffs office and pick them up? How long do I have to wait to get a license to carry? If there is anyone who has information on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thankyou Bill

Just out of curiosity........why are you going to buy a new one to see if you're going to have a hard time getting back your old ones? If someone had my property against my will the only thing on my mind would be getting it back..priority one! YMMV but I kinda don't get it.

FYI The Firearms that were taking from my house are family heirlooms not something i want to carry or take to the range. I called the Bucks County sherrifs office and they said there is a 7 day grace period until the systems get updated and I was told to call back next monday. Now doesnt that sound alot diffrent than what is wriiten as law. Is our sheriffs office following the laws or making them up as they go along? Because I was pretty sure that it said the day the PFA expired that I should be able to get them back, it says nothing about 7 days grace period.
